BILLING & REFUNDS

Billing & Refund Policy

Effective date: June 30, 2026

1. Billing models

Kite Layer charges business customers for managed AI API infrastructure services, including API access management, model routing, usage monitoring, billing support, and technical onboarding. Fees may be based on usage, subscription plans, invoices, advance service payments, or written service agreements.

2. Service allowance and advance payments

Customers may arrange advance service payments, service allowance, or usage limits depending on account configuration or written agreement. Service allowance is used to manage consumption of API usage, model routing, platform services, and technical support; its scope is governed by the console, order form, invoice, or written agreement.

3. Subscriptions, contracts, and invoices

Business customers may pay through monthly subscriptions, invoices, advance service payments, or written service agreements. Payment cycles, service allowance, due dates, taxes, and service scope are governed by the console, order form, invoice, or written agreement between the parties.

4. Usage-based charges

Usage charges may be calculated based on API calls, token usage, model type, upstream provider costs, platform service fees, and customer account configuration. Usage, billing, and pricing information shown in the console helps customers understand charges, but final invoices may be affected by adjustments, discounts, taxes, or written agreements.

5. Refund policy

API usage already incurred and services already delivered are generally non-refundable. Refunds for unused service allowance or advance service payments are reviewed case by case based on applicable law, account status, abuse or policy violations, payment method, and any written agreement between the parties. Duplicate charges or clear billing errors may be reported to [email protected].

6. Billing disputes

If a customer believes a charge is incorrect, the customer should contact [email protected] promptly with account details, invoice information, transaction records, and a description of the dispute. We will reasonably review disputes, but customers remain responsible for paying undisputed amounts on time.

7. Cancellation

Customers may stop future purchases, cancel subscriptions, or terminate services according to the applicable agreement. Cancellation does not affect charges incurred before cancellation and does not automatically waive unpaid invoices, taxes, or contractual payment obligations.

8. Contact

Questions about billing, refunds, or dispute handling can be sent to [email protected].
