TRUST & COMPLIANCE

Trust, Business Model, and Service Boundaries

Effective date: July 29, 2026

1. Company and service overview

Kite Layer LLC provides B2B managed AI API infrastructure and operational software services through Kite Layer, helping reviewed business customers manage model access, access controls, usage analytics, model routing, and billing operations.

2. Customers and onboarding

Kite Layer serves software companies, platform engineering teams, AI application developers, and enterprise service teams. Customers typically onboard through business communication, use-case review, account configuration, test-environment confirmation, invoices, or written agreements rather than anonymous unmanaged high-volume self-service usage.

3. Business model and funds flow

Kite Layer charges business customers for software services, API access management, model routing, usage analytics, billing operations, and technical onboarding. Customer payments cover Kite Layer service fees, incurred API usage costs, platform operating costs, and agreed technical support fees.

Customers may pay through invoices, subscriptions, advance service payments, or written service agreements. Service allowance, usage limits, and billing records are used to manage service consumption and reconciliation; they are not cash balances, consumer stored value, or transferable funds.

4. Service boundaries

Kite Layer is an API access, routing, account-management, and operations control layer. It is not a bank, payment institution, money transmitter, consumer wallet, stored-value account, or financial-services provider. Kite Layer does not custody customer funds and does not provide money movement, currency exchange, investment, credit, or insurance services.

Kite Layer is not a model developer. Model capabilities, availability, pricing, content policies, and data-processing requirements may depend on upstream providers, customer account configuration, and written agreements.

5. Risk controls and acceptable use

We may review customer use cases, configure access limits, monitor unusual usage, and limit, suspend, or terminate service when we detect abuse, security risk, non-payment, sanctions risk, provider restrictions, or policy violations.
